It’s official! I’m excited to share that I (Lindsay) recently became an approved supervisor through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) ☺️. This work is incredibly rewarding and I’ve been lucky to have learned (and continue to learn) from incredible mentors over the years. It’s a privilege to now be able to expand my services and formally offer supervision to fellow RDs looking to deepen their expertise in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. ✨
#TBT to the 11/13 joint IFEDD + Monte Nido dinner and CEU event! Thanks to the brilliant Mary Dye for coming up to NYC to present to the IFEDD RDs and RDs-to-be on a super relevant and important topic, “Letting the Body Lead: Weight Inclusive and Intuitive Eating Approaches in the Treatment of Eating Disorders.” My favorite takeaways: 1. We can’t just talk to our clients about nutrition without talking about the bigger context. 2. Food neutrality must precede gentle nutrition.
