MPH, RD, CDN
Ashley (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science with a minor in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She went on to pursue her master's degree in public health nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also completed her dietetic internship.
Ashley has experience in the areas of child, adolescent and adult nutrition, disordered eating and eating disorders. She is passionate about helping her clients explore their relationships with food and restore peace around mealtimes, using "All Foods Fit" and Health At Every Size (HAES) approaches. Ashley is also an active member of the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD).
Before becoming a Registered Dietitian, Ashley worked as an independent personal trainer, helping her clients find sources of movement that were enjoyable. She thoroughly enjoys physical activity, but does not believe it should be something that is forced or dreaded.
In her spare time, Ashley can be found reading a good book at a local coffee shop, taking dance classes, or cooking up a new recipe (while making a mess).
