Lindsay Krasna,

MA, EdM, RD, CDN

Lindsay (she/her) is the proud founder of LK Nutrition. She is a Registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, and weight inclusive nutrition.

Lindsay received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University, where she also completed her dietetic internship. She holds a dual masters' degree in counseling psychology from Columbia University, and completed her counseling internship at the Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai in New York City.

Lindsay is a lover of learning. In an effort to provide the most relevant and affirming care, she regularly seeks out continuing education on a variety of topics from experts in the field with diverse lived and clinical experiences. She's completed professional training in eating disorders through organizations such as the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), EDRD Pro. and Weight Inclusive Nutrition and Dietetics (WIND).

Lindsay is a professional member of EDRD Pro, the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD), and the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH). She is also a former ambassador for IFEDD's New York City Chapter, a local professional group dedicated to advocacy for eating disorder dietitians and their clients.  

Lindsay has worked as a Registered Dietitian with a variety of populations, and in a range of settings, including The Renfrew CenterUpper East HealthBalance Eating Disorder Treatment Center, and Kings County Hospital Center.

Prior to starting her nutrition career, Lindsay was a competitive athlete. She played Division 1 college basketball at Cornell University, followed by a professional stint in Israel.

Lindsay welcomes clients of all backgrounds into her practice. She has a special interest in working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ and/or Jewish communities. She also enjoys working with current and retired athletes, and those in the helping professions.

Lindsay is moved by the transformative power of genuinely collaborative relationships. She strives to create a therapeutic alliance where clients can feel safe to talk about their unique food and body experiences, while holding hope for more peaceful, empowering possibilities along the way. She is continually inspired and humbled by the wisdom, bravery and resilience of her clients.

In her spare time, Lindsay can be found playing hoops, spending time with her nephews, and performing in an acoustic girlband around NYC
