Lindsay (she/her) is the proud founder of LK Nutrition. She is a Registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, and weight inclusive nutrition through an anti-oppression lens.
Lindsay received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University, where she also completed her dietetic internship. She holds masters' degrees in counseling psychology from Columbia University, and completed her counseling internship at the Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai in New York City. Lindsay completed professional trainings in eating disorders through organizations such as the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), EDRD Pro, and Weight Inclusive Nutrition and Dietetics (WIND).
Lindsay has experience working as a Registered Dietitian at The Renfrew Center, Upper East Health, Balance Eating Disorder Treatment Center, and Kings County Hospital Center. She currently serves as the New York City Chapter Ambassador for the the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD), and is a professional member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH) as well as the Health at Every Size® (HAES®) Registry.
Prior to beginning her nutrition career, Lindsay was a competitive basketball player. She competed at the collegiate level for Cornell University followed by a professional stint in Ramat Hasharon, Israel.
Lindsay welcomes clients of all backgrounds and identities, with special interests in working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ and Jewish communities.
Lindsay draws on her range of trainings, clinical experience and professional background in nutrition, mental health, and athletics, as well as her fellow humanness, to connect with and inform her work. She is continually inspired, humbled and moved by the wisdom of her clients, and the transformative power of genuinely collaborative relationships.
In her spare time, Lindsay can be found shooting hoops, exploring new cities, and thinking up new (corny) food puns. She lives with her partner in Brooklyn, NY.
