Friends, Colleagues, and Clients: we recently created a scholarship fund here at LK Nutrition, and we need your help! Did you know BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) are just as likely to have eating disorders as white folks, but are significantly less likely to receive help for their eating issues compared to their white counterparts!? This inequity exists for a multitude of reasons, related to systemic oppression and the intersections of race and class. But eating disorder care shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be a RIGHT. As one small step towards helping make treatment more accessible, we are aiming to fundraise through donations that will be used to fully subsidize session

Happy (belated) PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) Awareness Month! I everyone, my name is D (@dpforde) and I am back, interning with LK Nutrition. Do you have PCOS? Do you have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)? Both? If you have both, you are not alone! Almost 42% of those with PCOS have IBS or IBS symptoms. IBS is like PCOS in that they are both syndromes so there isn’t a single cause, but a variety of symptoms that come from many causes.
